The Key of Db major
Db major is D♭ – E♭ – F – G♭ – A♭ – B♭ – C.
Why this key
D♭ major has five flats and is rare in guitar music for the obvious reason — nothing is open and every shape is barred. It turns up in vocal music, where the key is chosen for a singer's range rather than for anyone's fingers.
