The Key of F minor
F minor is F – G – A♭ – B♭ – C – D♭ – E♭.
Why this key
F minor is E♭ major's relative minor, four flats, and common in soul and film music for the same reason E♭ is — the horns are already there. On guitar it is entirely barred, which is part of why it sounds heavy.
